This Nationally Recognised training, accompanied by regular drills and ongoing education in the workplace, will ensure your personnel are ready to deal with any fire incident safely and effectively.
The unit of competency PUAWER008B (Confine Small Workplace Emergencies) will provide your staff with the skills and knowledge regarding:
- Prepare for emergency situations
- Identify and assess the emergency
- Safely confine emergencies where possible

Fire safety training is conducted by skilled and experienced fire safety officers who have vast experience in the field. They can also work with you to tailor an ongoing training package for your workplace to ensure your staff are regularly updated and drilled on fire safety procedures.
Training and assessment for fire safety courses are run over 2 – 3 hours and are delivered in both classroom theory and practical demonstration. Your staff get to use the fire equipment to ensure they are entirely confident in their abilities to perform fire safety techniques and procedures.
Weekend training courses for those who work during the week and on-site training options are available.
