Everyone who drives a forklift on any premises must have a forklift license. You risk voiding Workers Compensation cover and insurances if you allow your employees to operate a forklift without the National Licence to perform High Risk Work issued by WorkSafe. Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other arms that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck. The Forklift Training Course is nationally recognised and aligned with the unit of competency TLILIC2001.
