Working At Heights

working heights equipmentIf you conduct or supervise tasks that are carried out at height, you will require Working Safely at Heights training. Working at heights is dangerous and the right training will reduce risks and work towards eliminating height related accidents in the workplace.

The unit of competency RIIWHS204D (Working Safely at Heights) is a nationally recognised course that will equip your staff with the skills and knowledge need to complete the following tasks:

  • Identify work requirements
  • Identify work procedures and instructions
  • Access and install equipment
  • Perform work at heights
  • Clean up work area

Training and assessment for this course runs over one full day and is delivered in both classroom theory and practical demonstration to ensure your staff are entirely confident with their abilities to work safely at heights. There is also the option for weekend training courses for those who work during the week and on-site training options are also available.

Once completed, this certification is recognised as being conducted by a registered training organisation and enables the accredited holder to work safely at heights in a variety of locations.
